On 18-08-2026, the Accused Officer (AO) Smt. Ch. Prabhavathi, Town Planning Supervisor 0/0 GHMC, Santosh Nagar Circle 25, Charminar Zone, Hyderabad was caught red handed by the ACB officials, City Range-1 when she demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 20,000/- from the complainant for doing an official favour, i.e. for processing the "building permission file" and handing over the "building permit order" and "work commencement letter" to the complainant.
The bribe amount of Rs.20,000/- was recovered from the possession of AO at her instance. Thus, the Accused Officer performed her duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage.
Therefore, the AO is being produced before the Hon'ble I Addl. Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases, Nampally for judicial remand. The case is under investigation. The details of complainant are withheld for security reasons.
